The Back to School Project –

Each year we provide children in poverty with a backpack and school supplies that they will need to start the year in success.

Christmas Wish Program –

Each year we provide local single parents and their children with three wishes for Christmas, along with everything needed for a Christmas dinner. These are families struggling to provide for their children and make ends meet. This allows the children to have hope.

The Foster Care Project –

Many children enter into the foster care system in crisis, only able to bring the clothes on their back or in a trash bag. Hope 4 Widows and Orphans want these children to have something of their own, we partnered with another organization and together provided over 50 duffel bags filled with hygiene items, a blanket, a coloring book, and crayons, along with a soft cuddly teddy bear. These bags went to Washington County DHS and The local Police vehicles so when the need arises the children will have something of their own.

UGM Life Change Center for Women & Children –

The purpose of UGM LifeChange is to transform lives and break free of addiction and destructive life patterns. Our goal is to build relationships with the families while supporting the mentoring program along with providing basic needs. In 2015 we funded and built the learning center where the women in need can take GED courses and apply for employment when ready. We have also provided Christmas gifts to the women and children along with teaching a “Building healthy families” course.

Family Promise Shelter –

Family Promise serves homeless families with children by providing them shelter, meals, help, and hope so that they may achieve stability and self-sufficiency. Each year we provide Christmas presents to the families.

5 Rock Ranch –

In our relationship with Five Rock we have provided basic needs; to include food donations, Christmas presents as well as the funding and building of a 40-acre fence for cattle.

Widows Ranch –

The Widows Ranch is a local widow who donates large quantities of produce to local food banks and churches within the community. We built the greenhouse and provided raised garden beds, repaired fencing, and removed debris.

Hillsboro Hope –

Hillsboro Hope is a community event with the goal of building relationships and providing aide to those need. During this fair themed event, we provided backpacks and school supplies, serving children of single-parent homes.
